From A Farmer You Know

Welcome To Wright Brothers Farm
Wright Brothers Farm is a family owned, sustainable vegetable farm focused on growing great tasting, nutritious, high quality fresh produce and herbs for chefs and families alike. We farm using sustainable practices in a way that preserves and enhances soil health, believing that we are temporary stewards of the soil with an obligation to leave it better than it was when first entrusted to us.
We brothers (Craig, Chris and Mark) are Ferndale boys who grew up working this soil for our uncles, then moved away for college, which lead to careers, marriage and fatherhood. All the while, we kept our connection to this farm, eventually deciding to return to our roots and learn to be farmers.
We are proud to follow in the footsteps of our uncles, Ed Bailey and Loren Bailey, Jr. who, together with our aunt Martha Minter Bailey, were among the earliest organic growers in Whatcom County, establishing their organic farm, Evergreen Station, more than 50 years ago.
They, together with our mother Susan, had grown up on this property. Their parents, Loren Sr. and Elinor, operated a dairy farm and their uncle a chicken ranch. The property was initially acquired in 1903 by Loren Sr.'s parents, Walter and Hannah Bailey.
We are glad to be farming and want to connect with you! Please reach out and say hello. We supply some of the regions best restaurants and deliver fresh veggie boxes from here to Seattle. In addition, we sell at the Bellingham Farmers Market on Saturdays and the Mercer Island Farmers Market on Sundays. Please follow us on social media!
