Seasonal Field Hand – Multiple Positions Full Time / Part Time

Wright Brothers Farm is a family owned, organic vegetable farm focused on growing great tasting, nutritious, high quality fresh produce and herbs for families and chefs alike.

We are  currently seeking individuals to join our team and assist with all phases of operations. You will be involved in various tasks such as seeding, transplanting, cultivating, weeding, thinning, pruning, harvesting, washing and packing produce. You will also be moving and positioning woven ground cover, floating row cover, and irrigation lines. Additionally, you may have the opportunity to operate power tools and mechanized equipment such as a walk-behind BCS tractor and/or Kubota tractor. We operate a seedling propagation greenhouse, grow-out facilities and produce tomatoes, cucumbers, herbs and peppers in hoop houses. Care for protected culture growing includes pruning, trellising and harvesting those crops.

Prefer prior farm work experience and demonstrated interest in organic farming principles and local agriculture.

Seasonal Positions: Lead field hand (full time); field hand (full time); field hand (part time)

Pay range: $18-$22/hour, depending on experience

Additional benefits for all positions:
– Paid sick/personal time, accrues 1 hour for every 40 hours worked
– Farm produce for personal use
